As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated HR Specialist to join our team and support our employees and managers in various HR functions.


Setting:
In-Office


Schedule:
Monday-Friday; Daytime hours


Compensation:
$23-$27 per hour

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assist with ADA, LOA, FMLA and NJ Disability Requests
  • Process workers compensation injuries, first report of injury and unemployment claims
  • Support store level managers and employees in the performance management process
  • Assist in the benefits enrollment process for new hires, life events and open enrollment
  • Provide employment and/or salary verification for associates
  • Complete termination/transfer process for applicable associates
  • Coordinate onboarding processes and ensure seamless setup for new hires across all systems
  • Understand the fundamentals of the company's recruitment processes and procedures and assist as required
  • Assist with other administrative tasks, including data entry, reporting, filing, scanning and file uploads

Requirements/Qualifications include but are not limited to:

  • Associate's degree in a relevant field is required
  • A minimum of 34 years' experience in an HR setting required
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels
  • MUST project and maintain an extreme respect to company confidentiality
