- Minimum of 2 years of cooking with preferred background in hotels and clubs
- Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and tolerating frequent interruptions

- Set up the clubs AM salad bar and prepare fresh dressing
- Recognize quality standards in preparing fresh product always serving the best to our members

- Prepare all foods to the River Crest Culinary Standard
- Effectively use cooking techniques, grilling, saut, broiling, steaming, blanching and basic cooking fundamentals

Description
River Crest Country Club is seeking to add a full-time Banquet Cook to its Culinary team. Located five miles from downtown Fort Worth, River Crest is Fort Worth's oldest and most storied country club.
River Crest offers an excellent Compensation & Benefits Package as well as a great work environment. The pay range for this position is $16 - $21 per hour based on verifiable experience. Our comprehensive benefits program includes medical, dental, vision, life and disability plans, YMCA membership and Flexible Spending Plans (FSA). These benefits begin the first of the month following 60 days of employment.

JOB SUMMARY
The Banquet Cook will be responsible for our entire banquet and buffet culinary operations for the club. The position will prepare food for all of the clubs' "to go" orders, private functions, parties, weddings, charity events and large scale events. The Banquet Cook will prepare the clubs' weekly themed buffets and the salad bar buffet as well as assist in preparing the daily employee meal. The Banquet Cook works closely with a group of cooks directed by the Sous Chef, Executive Sous Chef and the Executive Chef.
