How You Will Make an Impact

As the Corporate Paralegal on our in-house legal team, you will have the unique opportunity to collaborate directly with senior business leaders across the company. As a key member of our team, the successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting and enhancing our corporate functions, significantly impacting our organization's success.

This role will be based onsite at our Headquarters in Austin, TX.

Responsibilities

Assist with general corporate and securities functions as well as strategic transactions.
Manage commercial contracts, non-disclosure agreements, and other legal documents.
Oversee corporate governance and the structure of subsidiaries.
Support corporate ethics and compliance efforts.
Analyze legal and business risks in the context of public company practice and communicate complex legal issues.
Monitor the performance and effectiveness of company policies, disclosure controls, and debt covenant compliance.
Handle multiple tasks and projects with exceptional attention to detail and high standards.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3 years of recent legal experience in corporate and/or transactional practice.
High personal standards of excellence and a quick learning curve.
Strong communication, research, document management, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Trustworthy, with the ability to handle sensitive information with the utmost confidentiality.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs, online records management tools, and online research tools.
Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.

How You Will Stand Out

Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) software.
Paralegal certificate.
Familiarity with Oil & Gas transactions and issues, logistics and construction, securities and regulatory matters, and corporate governance issues.
Experience in a first-tier law firm or in-house legal department.
