Description
As an Entry-Level Architectural Designer/Drafter, you will:
- Provide architectural support in the design, selection, coordination, and detailing of architectural materials and systems.
- Demonstrate an understanding of plans, sections, and elevations by assisting with concept design of basic massing, plans, sections, elevations, and basic detailing.
- Produce detailed architectural documentation under the guidance (sketches, verbal instructions) of the Project Architect.
- Participate in preparation of graphics materials and images for client presentations.
- Participate in building systems research as directed by the Project Architect, including coordination with product manufacturers.
- Assist project leadership in all activities during conceptual design through construction documents.
- Participate in the architectural design process in a support role.
- Review shop drawing submittals under the direction of the Project Architect.
- Respond to client's questions and comments with supervisory guidance.
- Communicate with other engineering disciplines to ensure coordination of project documents.
- Attend project team meetings and participate in project presentations.
- Demonstrates independent judgment in handling responsibilities at this level.
- Exhibit time management skills by completing tasks accurately and on schedule.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture or equivalent experience
- Minimum two years of related professional experience, with at least one year of direct architectural project experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Bluebeam, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.

Pay:
$48, $58,000.00 per year
