As a Biology Staff, you will perform biological discovery and development research within a major or significant therapeutic area or a sub-specialty (e.g. biochemistry, cell biology, molecular biology).

This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career.

These responsibilities include some of the following:

  • Design and execute studies to discover, understand, model, simulate, and create new drug molecules.
  • Research target identification, target validation, drug interactions with targets or receptors, and assay development.
  • Monitor competitive market conditions, patient requirements and technology advances.
  • Execute experiments using established protocol and carry out basic interpretation of results with mínimal supervision.
  • Identify problems in the execution of experimental processes and in results.
  • Operate laboratory equipment with mínimal supervision.
  • Anticipate/recognize potential problems with equipment/supplies and initiates action to address or prevent problems
  • Execute assigned tasks and activities with high quality and attention to own and other's safety.
  • Comply with local data integrity requirements.
  • Execute experiments and data management activities that result in robust, high quality data to inform R&D decision making.
  • Perform data management and some data interpretation tasks including recording results effectively in a laboratory notebook with mínimal supervision. (i.e. data collection and organization).
  • Provide simple interpretation & communicates data and results in simple technical memos/reports.
  • Consult with supervisor when difficulties arise that cannot be readily resolved.
  • Accountable for experimental timelines in accordance with business objectives.
  • Prepare brief oral or written summaries of results with interpretation for "projects".

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelors/M.S in biology, microbiology, immunology, other science relate degree with 1+ year of industry experience
  • Experience using molecular biology techniques mainly ELISA, FACS and cell culture
  • Experience using MSD/Luminex platform to develop assays
  • Experience analyzing data using different software and presenting the data in team meetings

Preferred Qualifications:

If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus:

  • Experience using human biological samples
  • Experience developing ligand binding assays ECL based for different vaccine programs
  • Experience developing urinary assays for vaccine programs
  • Experience of developing different kinds of ELISA from Development stage to validation step.
  • Experience working independently and in a team
