    Shift is 7p-7a, every other weekend required. RN will float throughout the Norton system within their scope of practice as needed. "RN Job Description Summary Work Experience (Basic): 2 years of acute care RN experience Work Experience (Desired): None Education (Required): Diploma or Associate Education (Desired): Certification (Required): Registered Nurse Certification (Desired): Facility: Norton Brownsboro Hospital Unit Name/Type of unit: 5 West PCU Selling points for the unit: Smallest unit at NBH. Mixed Acuity PCU. ANM out of staffing every shift. Dayshift and nightshift educators. # beds/procedures: 20 bed Patient ratio: 4:1 Does RN need to know how to read tele strips? Yes Top diagnosis/procedures: True general PCU: Sepsis, AKI, respiratory illnesses, gen surgery cases, A- Fib w/ RVR, etc. Common equipment used: IV & PCA pumps, Wound Vacs Does RN need to be able to titrate medication? Yes, but minimally. Common medications given: Gtts- Heparin, Amio, Cardizem EPIC Charting Scrub Color (are they provided): Galaxy Blue. Not provided by NHC. Required Skills:
