Position Summary:

The IT Helpdesk Associate Technician II is responsible for providing efficient and timely IT Service Desk Request responses with first-rate client and technical service in support of FlexShoppers corporate team.

This Helpdesk Associate will assist with requests that include troubleshooting and resolving IT desktop support issues with PCs, software, printers and related peripheral devices, equipment relocation, purchasing of new hardware/software and resolutions of security issues.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform desktop support tasks related to basic and advanced repairs of desktop PCs, applications, and supporting technology equipment, related peripherals, and mobile devicesInstallation, configuration, repair, and deployment of hardware assetsTest and deploy various applications, equipment, and systems imagesPerform routine maintenance of desktop operating systems and software applications including but not limited to security patches/updates and antivirus updates/monitoringAccurately record, update, and escalate document requests using helpdesk ticketing systemProvide technical support, both remotely and onsite, by identifying and troubleshooting hardware/software and network connectivity issues Responsible for upskilling in overall IT infrastructure, methods, and industry standardsAssist with support efforts for business units and other IT teamsAssist with installed software and managing software licensingCreate user accounts and manage user account based on company policiesAbility to work a rotating on-call shift that will include being available outside of regular business hoursAbility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays as needed, depending on changing business needs

Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or proven industry experience and certification will be acceptable in lieu of Bachelors degree3 to 5 years PC support in a Windows and Mac OS network environment preferredSound IT technical and analytical skills, good judgment, and strong operational focus with the ability to identify, research, and resolve issues independently and as part of a teamMust have experience and a solid understanding of: Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, and Windows 7, 8, and 10Microsoft certifications preferred but not required Some helpdesk call center experience providing telephonic user support requiredLogMeIn Central experienceAccess control/badging experienceServer experience (including racking)

Proficient in Microsoft Office Product Suite and industry-related software programs, TCP/IPSubstantial network and telephony troubleshooting experience (2+ years preferred)Microsoft Active Directory/Azure AD and Microsoft Exchange experience preferredWindows Server (Windows 2012, 2016, and 2019)Experience with Windows Clustering technology (is a plus) LAN/WANTCP/IPSIP/VOIPWorking experience with VMWare virtualization platform (i.e., ESXI, VCenter, etc.) Experience with AWS services (E2C, S3, RDS, etc.)

Physical Requirements:
Individuals may need to sit or stand for prolonged periods working on a computer. The role may require you to walk, primarily on a level surface, for periods during the day. Ability to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time. Ability to lift, pull, push boxes, and manipulate equipment which requires strength, gross motor and fine motor coordination. The job may also require reaching above shoulder heights, below waist or lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance. Pre-employment background checks are required.

For the most part ambient room temperatures, lighting and traditional office equipment as found in a typical office environment.

This is an onsite full-time position in our Boca Raton corporate office, that will require you to work a rotating on-call shift that will include being available outside of regular business hours.

Extended hours, weekends, and holiday coverage may also be required as needed, depending on changing business objectives.
