    JOB TITLE: Field Service Engineer at Diagnostica Stago

    About the Company: Diagnostica Stago is a leading provider of instrumentation solutions focused on enhancing customer satisfaction and minimizing operational difficulties.

    Summary: As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the proper installation and maintenance of instrumentation at customer facilities in the Greater Scranton/Wilkes Barre, PA area. Your role will involve providing emergency service, preventive maintenance, updates, and technical support to drive high levels of customer satisfaction.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Provides emergency service, preventive maintenance, and updates at customer facilities
    • Responsible for tracking and scheduling maintenance for assigned analyzers
    • Installs instruments at customer facilities to ensure full functionality
    • Provides onsite and remote support for all Stago Digital Products
    • Documents repair information in accordance with company SOP
    • Analyzes and troubleshoots instrument problems to ensure optimal operation
    • Coordinates problem resolution with Field Support Group
    • Communicates effectively between the customer and the company
    • Demonstrates proper operations to end-users
    • Manages company resources effectively
    • Reviews service contract metrics to drive customer contract renewal
    • Provides technical assistance and troubleshooting as required

    Education & Requirements:

    • High School or GED required
    • Associates Degree or Certificate from Technical School preferred
    • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year college or university preferred
    • 3 years of related experience required
    • Valid Driver's License
    • Ability to travel up to 75% overnight

    Skills:

    • Knowledge of Database and Internet software
    • Experience with Windows 10/7, NT, XP, and DOS
