Description
We are actively seeking an accomplished and strategic individual to join our team as an Investment Banking leader. You will play a pivotal role in the investment banking division, orchestrating and executing complex financial transactions.

Collaborating closely with senior executives, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing our overarching strategy for investment banking activities.


This role is responsible for generating and managing new business, instilling trust with clients and ensuring flawless engagement, closing transactions, and acting as a role model and resource for the early career banking team members.

This role develops and executes business strategies, manages relationships with clients, and oversees the origination and execution of investment banking transactions.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

Manage deal execution and lead project management throughout the entirety of the transaction

Play a key role supporting origination, evaluating opportunities and executing deals; will have a broad scope and variety of assignments and products across multiple sectors

Assist in coordinating information flow and execution with product groups

Participate in and lead marketing meetings with clients

Oversee and direct detailed valuation analyses, including DCF, trading comparables, and transaction precedents

Lead and manage the investment banking division, providing guidance and mentorship to junior bankers

Develop and execute business strategies and initiatives to grow the investment banking business

Work closely with the executive team to identify and pursue new business opportunities

Manage relationships with key clients, providing exceptional service and delivering innovative solutions

Originate and execute investment banking transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, equity and debt offerings, and other advisory services

Manage risk and compliance in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements

Provide thought leadership and market insights to clients and colleagues


REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:


Minimum Education:
Bachelor's degree required


Required Licensure:


  • Securities Industry Essentials Exam (SIE)
  • General Securities Representative Exam (Series 7)
  • General Securities Principal Exam (Series 24)
  • Uniform Securities Agent State Law Exam (Series 63)
  • Investment Banking Representative Exam (Series 79)

Required Experience, Skills, and/or Knowledge:


  • Minimum 5 years of investment banking experience
  • Experience with originating and executing IPOs, follow on and shelf offerings and PIPEs a plus
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Excellent technology skills with superior Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Demonstrates strategic and creative thinking and distinguished communication skills
  • Ability to manage several projects at once and work effectively as an individual and as part of a team
  • Strict attention to detail with demonstrated ability to take initiative
  • Strong public speaking skills and comfortable with leading large group conference calls
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Deep knowledge of investment banking, financial markets, and regulatory environment
  • Demonstrated track record of success in deal origination, structuring, and execution
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fastpaced environment
  • Strong client relationship management skills

PAY RANGE:
$100K-$300K annually


WORKPLACE LOCATION

  • Our team operates out of our beautiful offices on Madison Avenue in New York City. This role requires daily presence in the office as well as at client offices for meetings, events, etc.

SCHEDULING REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires some flexibility in scheduling, such as the ability to work evenings and weekends to meet client deliverables.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • Requires ability to travel locally by car/public transportation, as well as regular domestic trips involving air travel for multinight stays, and occasional international trips.

$100, $300,000.00 per year
