- Delivering exceptional assessment work and counsel to CEOs, C-suite executives, and investors on their most important leadership problems
- Helping clients hire and develop talented executive teams and Boards
- Managing projects effectively under tight timeframes
- Being a valued and generous team member & colleague
- Contributing to the growth of the firm through activities like mentoring, client management, practice leadership, and talent recruitment
- MBA from a top program or a PhD (preferably in psychology or organizational behavior)
- 5+ years post-graduate work
- Experience at a top-tier management consulting firm (preferred)
- Consistent top quartile performance across roles
- Passion and curiosity for the topic of how leadership can elevate the performance of organizations
- Excellent commercial acumen and the mental agility to quickly get up to speed on new clients and industries
- Strong project management capabilities

What You'll Do
As a Principal you will play a significant leadership role from your first day at ghSMART. You will learn our innovative approach to assessing and developing executive talent, begin to cultivate and own client relationships, and contribute to the firm's strategic decisions. As well as assessing leaders, you will work with clients in disciplines including talent and organizational strategy, CEO succession, leadership coaching and development, or board and team effectiveness.

Compensation
We are built on a culture of freedom and flexibility. We operate fully remotely, and our team members balance a deeply energizing full-time high intensity work environment with flexible schedules to support life outside of work. Our compensation model reflects these values. You will share directly in our profitability with a base salary and performance pay. You should reasonably expect $250,000-$350,000 in your first year and $350,000-$700,000 thereafter. In addition, we offer a meaningful bonus and the opportunity to buy equity in our fully team owned firm.
