We are one of the oldest machine shops in Houston with a proven track record of success and excellence. Within our 30,000 square foot climate-controlled facility we manufacture parts and accessories for the oil/gas and aerospace industries. We are looking for a _
Quality Control Inspector_ to join our great team.

CMM PROGRAMMING EXPERIENCE A PLUS THIS POSITION REQUIRES THE ABILITY TO WORK IN A FAST-PACE ENVIRONMENT
_RESPONSIBILITIES**:

_

Reviewing blueprints and specifications used in the manufacturing of finished goods.
Recording inspection results by completing reports, summarizing reworks and wastes, and inputting data into a quality database.
Keeping measurement equipment operating accurately by following calibration requirements and calling for repairs.
Performing first article, inprocess, and final inspections of complex parts.
Performing line inspections/inprocess inspections.
Record Keeping
QC Data Entry
Keeping track of daily needs of the company's quality requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

Superior understanding and knowledge of engineering blueprints, tolerancing, and GD&T

High levels of experience with (to include, but not limited to):

- _CALIPERS_
- _MICROMETERS_
- _BORE GAGES_
- _ELECTRONIC MICRO-HEIGHT GAGES_
- _MANUAL CMM_
- _COMPARATOR_
- _FIRST ARTICLE INSPECTIONS_
- _FINAL INSPECTIONS_
- _DECIPHERING CUSTOMER SPECIFICATIONS FOR MANUFACTURING/FINISHING REQUIREMENTS_
- _
Ability to operate effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced/stressful environment IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST_
- _
Ability to multi-task, and must have great time management skills._
- _
Must be able to work with effectively with mínimal to no supervision._

Pay:
$ $28.00 per hour
