    Job DescriptionSalary: $18 - $20 an hour

    ABOUT LIVEGLAM:

Each collection features our best-selling lip products plus other beauty products like palettes, brushes, and more to complete the look.

    BIG PICTURE:

    LiveGlam is searching for a Quality Control Associate who will be responsible for ensuring that all LiveGlam products meet the highest beauty quality standards. This individual will not only have a passion for makeup, but will also have experience and knowledge in the beauty industry. They will be the final set of eyes on our products before they get in our customer's hands The perfect candidate will be versed in completing quality control checks and be very knowledgeable on what to look for specific to makeup inconsistencies for different types of products. This position requires someone that is flexible and able to jump into other tasks related to order fulfillment to support the entire process of our products to our customers with a positive attitude.

    HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME:

    • Completes bi-monthly quality checks (swatching/testing) on our products to ensure there are no imperfections
    • Completes reports including packaging material reports with accuracy
    • Inspects all items for physical damage and report any damage or non-compliant quality
    • Be highly responsive to requests from internal departments
    • Works closely with the Product Development team to ensure products received are to standard
    • Assists the Shipping Manager as directed in receiving, sorting and storing products when needed
    • Maintains cleanliness and good housekeeping in work areas

    WHAT YOU HAVE:

    • Proof of age (must be at least 18 years old)
    • High school diploma or GED equivalent
    • 2+ years experience with quality control specifically within makeup industry
    • Passion and excitement for the beauty industry
    • Ability to be flexible and agile with constant changes and time restraints; learn on-the-fly
    • Ability to stand and/or walk up to 8 hours each day
    • Physical dexterity and strength (ability to lift up to 50 pounds)
    • Inventory experience not required but a plus
    • Experience packing and shipping complex E-commerce order
    • Some computer skills including Microsoft Excel and Shipping software (specifically ShipStation) are a plus but not required
    • Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Must be a proactive team player

    WHO OVERSEES YOU:

    The Quality Control Associate reports directly to the Fulfillment Manager and will have regular and significant interaction with the Product Development team.

    WHO YOU OVERSEE:

    Currently, the Quality Control Associate has no personnel reporting directly to him or her.

    WHERE IT ALL GOES DOWN:

    At our USC Warehouse.

    WHEN THE MAGIC HAPPENS:

    The typical work schedule is Monday – Friday, 8:30a-5:00p with an occasional Saturday.
