Cleveland-Cliffs has an immediate opportunity for a Project Engineer to support our Mining and Pelletizing Operations in Minnesota and Michigan.

The Project Engineer is responsible for providing leadership, direction, and input for capital project execution.

Summary of Responsibilities
Assembles project estimates and schedules ranging from Project Scoping to Project Execution Phases.
Provides oversight of contracted engineering work performed by outside firms.

Manages individual project files with the end goal of efficient project handover to Mining & Pelletizing Sites and CTG OnBase filing system.

Provides construction oversight including contractor management when required for CTG executed capital projects.
Interfaces with site representatives to ensure efficient project execution meeting assigned objectives.
Actively tracks project spending. Assist Director with Capex Spending Forecasts.
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in mineral or industrial processing facility preferred.
