The German Railway is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

Starting on September 1st, 2024, we are looking for you to join our 3-year apprenticeship program as a Construction Equipment Operator (m/f/d) at DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH in Hanau. The majority of your training will take place in Augsburg, with additional training in Feuchtwangen and Königsborn. The vocational school is located in Neuburg an der Donau.
What to expect during your apprenticeship:

You will support the track construction teams and be responsible for the safe and compliant operation of auxiliary vehicles and two-way excavators in track and civil engineering
Conducting track closures, shunting and transfer trips, and operating the two-way excavator
You will also assist with maintenance and repairs of construction and auxiliary vehicles
Opportunity to obtain a Class B driver's license and certification as a excavator and loader operator
If you do not have a driver's license, you can obtain one during your apprenticeship and we will cover most of the costs
