Description

2nd Shift 3pm-11pm Monday-Friday $19/hr

Requirements:

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Minimum of 1 year steady manufacturing experience at the same job

Machine experience needed:

Good math skills
Ability to use a Caliper
Shop floor experience and past use of shop floor tools preferred.
Mechanically inclined
Assembly or packaging experience is a plus, willing to train
Previous experience in measuring and great math skills is also a plus
Must be detailoriented and quality conscious
Attendance is key
Required to lift 10 pounds, frequently lift 25 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds.
This job requires you to stand for the full working shift.

ON-SITE TRAINING

Role:

Perform many of the secondary or finishing functions involved in spring making.

The process involves painting, racking & un-racking, packaging parts, press machine to perform many functions, wire-bending, baking & heat treating parts in large ovens and placing parts into various style grinders, assembly, looping, and more.

As the shop floor changes with the product mix, you will have many opportunities to learn several different stations and new positions There are many opportunities for advancement for qualified individuals who show promise and initiative.

This includes set-ups, machine tending or machine operation, and that's just the start You could move into Quality Control, Parts Inspection, Material Handling, Maintenance even Supervision

Pay:
From $19.00 per hour
