Wissota Chophouse is a fine dining restaurant located on the first floor of the Cobblestone Hotel. We specialize in high-end cuts of meat and seafood and have 30 craft Wisconsin beers on tap as well as 45 different bottles of wine with a full bar. We are looking for someone who is capable of bartending and serving as this position will require you do to both. This position with tips can range from $10/hr - $35 / hr.

Opening Bartender starts at 3:30pm. We are open from 4-9 from Tuesday-Thursday, and 4-10 on Friday and Saturday.

Purpose of Position:
To provide prompt and exceptional experiences to guests that order non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and food. Proper collection of cash and charges, and to maintain the bar area in a clean and orderly manner.


Essential Functions (but not limited to):

  • Abide by all sanitation and safety policies and procedures.
  • Adhere to all policies and procedures outlined in brand manual, and ownership employee
handbook.
Advise management of any complaints, comps, discounts, voids, to ensure restaurants
profitability.

  • Shall not consume alcoholic beverages while on the premises.
  • Shall not service intoxicated guests.
  • Shall not serve persons who are under the legal drinking age.
  • Answer, report, and follow supervisor's instructions.
  • Attending to customers upon entrance
  • Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff
  • Complete all required cleaning each day.
  • Complete all side work, cleaning tasks, and all other duties assigned by supervisor.
  • Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
  • Conduct yourself in a professional manner according to company policy.
  • Consistently demonstrate upselling to enhance customer experience.
  • Contribute to professional and teamfriendly environment.
  • Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
  • Efficiently and professionally communicate with personnel and kitchen personnel.
  • Ensure all tables are cleaned and set up properly.
  • Ensure that all newly seated guests receive immediate attention and that their orders are taken
promptly and courteously. Be sure the guest is not neglected at any time. Including tables that are

not yours.

  • Ensure that food comes out simultaneously, in high quality and in a timely fashion
  • Ensure the quality and appearance of the food you serve meets restaurant's standards.
  • Follow all applicable laws, health codes, rules, and procedures in food safety.
  • Follow all applicable laws, rules, and procedures in responsibly serving alcohol.
  • Follow and abide by all cash handling and payment procedures.
  • Greet all arriving guests at your station in a pleasant manner, making them feel welcome.
  • Have complete working knowledge of full beverage menus and food menus.
  • Issue bills and accept payment
  • Keep your station clean and set up with the required supplies at all times.
  • Know and demonstrate proper serving techniques for fine dining beverage and food presentation.
  • Know the menu and recipes accordingly, and fulfill each order in the highest quality and
presentation.
Knowledge of Point of Sale System.

  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
  • Maintain good personal appearance, hygiene, and wearing proper (clean & pressed) uniform.
  • Come each shift properly dressed in the uniform, wellgroomed, and hair pulled back.
  • Ensure that high standards of sanitation and cleanliness are maintained throughout the entire
restaurant at all times.

  • Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
  • Support front of house staff and back of house staff when needed.
  • Take/serve orders and answer questions or make recommendations for other products
  • Verify the accuracy on all checks for prices, taxes, and tips.
  • Work with the other personnel to ensure the side work and other jobrelated duties are
completed
