Job Summary: The main purpose of the Lead Associate, Warehouse Operations is to assist the Warehouse Supervisor in managing inbound logistics and overseeing warehouse operations efficiently and in accordance with operational priorities.

This role involves coordinating shipment receipts, scheduling incoming trucks, managing internal appointments, delegating tasks to warehouse staff, and reporting on workforce productivity and quality. The Lead Associate, Warehouse Operations also communicates with customers to relay information on disruptions, delivery updates, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
  • Directing workflows on the warehouse floor, including packing, unloading, shipping, and managing delivery schedules.
  • Allocating and monitoring daily tasks and duties.
  • Performance management and coaching.
  • Inventory management and assisting with stocking and shipping operations.
Qualifications: 2+ years of experience preferred.
  • High School diploma, GED or equivalent preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills preferred.
  • Previous experience with material handling equipment (MHE) preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Comfortable working at heights up to 30 feet regularly.
  • Willingness to learn to operate material handling equipment and work in various warehouse areas.
  • Adherence to safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meet distribution quotas, and prioritize customer satisfaction.
  • Self-motivated with teamwork skills and good multitasking abilities.
