The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for working on our machine assembly. In this position, you will work closely with others to connect components and construct our welding machines.

You must be able to read blueprints, know how to use a variety of hand and power tools, and be able to stand, sit, or crouch for extended periods.

This job is based out of Enfield, CT and requires mínimal travel.


Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist in the manufacture and assembly of our EB welding machines
• Assemble machine details from blueprints
• Able to read fine measuring equipment (calipers/indicators)
• Interconnect components to machine
• Lead fabrication experience a plus (not required)
• Performs saw cutting of material
• Performs testing of equipment after assembly
• Other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Follow blueprints of average complexity
• Ability to use hand tools (soldering and wiring a plus but not required)
• Technical and troubleshooting skills, problemsolving abilities
• Analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment
• Must be selfmotivated and a great team worker

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Physical Requirements:

• Requirements include overtime when needed and mínimal travel
• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. unassisted
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, bend, twist, stoop, pull, push, assemble, and carry for extended periods of time
• Willing to perform repetitive tasks while sitting or standing for extended periods of time
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment
