Overview:
International Logic Systems, Inc. (ILS) has an opening at our headquarter's in Fairfax, VA for a Business Development/Capture Specialist.

The Business Development/Capture Specialist plays a crucial role in evaluating, analyzing, managing and responding to inquiries from potential customers.

This role involves understanding customer requirements, communicating effectively with internal teams, and crafting comprehensive responses to RFIs in a timely manner.


Responsibilities:


  • Review multiple sites for incoming RFIs from potential customers.
  • Maintain a database of RFIs by Agency, their creation date and submission deadlines.
  • Coordinate with relevant stakeholders to obtain necessary approvals for RFI responses.
  • Collaborate with management teams to gather necessary information for RFI responses.
  • Follow up with customers to address any additional questions or concerns.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to improve RFI responses and processes.
  • Analyze customer requirements and tailor responses to address specific needs and concerns.
  • Lead and direct the team of writers and write assigned sections as needed.
  • Write clear, concise, and compelling responses to RFIs/RFPs that effectively showcase the company's services.
  • Provide direction and coordination of content for proposal graphics.
  • Ensure all responses are accurate, uptodate, and aligned with company branding and messaging.
  • Manage multiple RFIs simultaneously and prioritize tasks based on deadlines and strategic importance.
  • Develop and maintain a database of standard responses, templates, and other resources to streamline the RFI response process.
  • Follow up with customers to address any additional questions or concerns they may have.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a related field.
  • Past experience with Federal or DoD clients.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex information clearly and concisely.

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
  • Knowledge of Software industryspecific terminology, products, and services is a plus.
  • Strong customer service orientation and a commitment to meeting customer needs.
