Description

We are looking for you to join our team at DB InfraGO AG in Schwandorf starting on September 1st, 2024 for a 3-year apprenticeship as a Track Technician / Civil Engineering Specialist (m/f/d).

The vocational school is located in Nuremberg and the training workshop is also in Nuremberg.

What to expect in your apprenticeship:
✓ You will be working on construction sites, railway substructures, and superstructures, ensuring a safe and stable rail network
✓ Working with state-of-the-art machinery and various building materials (e.g. wood, concrete, steel)
✓ You will also learn the tasks of a civil engineering specialist, such as paving and masonry
✓ Replacing damaged tracks and switches, as well as renewing the track bed
✓ You will learn how to expertly check track curves and gauge widths with surveying equipment


Your profile:
✓ You have successfully completed (or will soon complete) your education
✓ Office work is not for you - you prefer to work outdoors
✓ You are dedicated and reliable
✓ You enjoy working in a team and are willing to pitch in
✓ Different work locations, schedules, and night shifts are a welcome change for you
