Located in the heart of Dobbs Ferry, The Cookery is in search of a skilled, energetic, and dedicated individual to be a part of a great team and thriving business.

The Cookery is part of Chef David DiBari's growing restaurant group, which includes our sister restaurant, The Parlor, and our mobile wood-fired pizza oven, DoughNation.

Chef DiBari has forged a reputation as one of the most boundary pushing chefs in Westchester with his progressive approach and unique cooking style.

Our focus at The Cookery is on nose-to-tail, soulful Italian cooking that is both progressive and nostalgic.

Competitive salary and fun, creative work environment, weekly Kitchen Bonus

The ideal candidate:

Excellent knife skills
Experience on multiple kitchen stations
Knowledge of cooking procedures, safety and sanitation guidelines
Ability to lift 25 lbs. or more
Excellent communication and organizational skills

Responsibilities include:

Preparing and executing key components of dishes while ensuring quality

and accuracy of product

Maintaining a clean and organized station at all times
Adhering to all restaurant policies and procedures paying special attention to

health and safety requirements

Performing all closing duties of the kitchen daily as determined by chef.
Maintaining and stocking station, freezers, refrigerators and store

room as needed

Providing general support to Chef and other cooks
