Milauskas Eye Institute founded in 1980 is the premier ophthalmic practice in Coachella Valley located in the Palm Springs, California area is looking for a Medical and Primary Care Optometrist to join our team. We have offices in Rancho Mirage, Palm Desert, and La Quinta as well.
THE POSITION:

This position is a combination of primary care optometry (all our offices have outstanding optical dispensaries) performing routine vision exams, and medical optometry diagnosing and managing chronic disease as well as co-managing surgical cases with our top tier ophthalmologists including subspecialists in glaucoma, refractive, retina and advanced anterior segment cases using state of the art progressive technologies. The group has its own ASC as well and is comprised of 10 physicians (5 MD and 5 OD). Use the full scope of your license and provide outstanding care for your patients.
Your schedule will be 8am-5pm, Tuesday through Fridays, and Saturdays 9am-3pm, with 20 days of PTO.
THE FINANCIAL PACKAGE:
This is a full-time employed position with a very competitive base salary plus lucrative productivity bonuses for optical and medical collections with a proven $200,000 annual income potential. Youll receive a full benefits package including health, vision, dental, and life insurance as well as many other supplemental benefits and a matching 401K. The financial package also includes a $25,000 signing/relocation bonus , CME stipend, licensure fees, professional liability insurance, paid time off, and an equity-style profit-sharing plan from our national platform of practices through ESP Pursuant to CA Senate Bill 1162, the pay scale range for this full-time Optometrist position is $150,000 to $250,000 per year.

The current metro area population of Indio - Cathedral City - Palm Springs, CA encompassing Coachella Valley is 496,000 and it is a desert resort location known for its mid-century modern architecture, design elements, arts, and cultural scene. Biking, year-round golf, horseback riding, swimming, and tennis in the nearby desert and mountain areas are major forms of recreation in Palm Springs. It is conveniently located adjacent to San Bernardino, Los Angeles, and San Diego in Southern California. You can choose to live in Palm Desert, Rancho Mirage, La Quinta, or anywhere in Coachella Valley with excellent cost of living, and outstanding access to quality schools and attractive neighborhoods
