Description

The primary goal of the Road Ranger is to ensure, as much as possible and within the project and company policies, a free flow of traffic on the road and to assist responding agencies in safely securing a scene and reopening the roadway as quickly and safely as possible to meet the 90 minute Open Roads Policy goal and adherence to all applicable federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Jorgensen Company policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

Must have clean driving record.

Must hold and maintain a valid Florida Driver's License

Must pass extensive criminal background check.

Must pass pre-employment Drug Screening + 6 month scheduled.

Must be fluent in English

• Preferred Experience:_

Roadway maintenance experience

Car mechanical experience

MOT Certifications


OVERALL QUALIFICATIONS:

Maintain company standards for background checks (i.e. criminal record, driving record and controlled substance/drug testing)

Knowledge of local driving rules and regulations

Carry out simple arithmetic functions

Maintain proper safety equipment required for each job

Knowledge and ability to adapt to the latest technology

Ability to adjust to changing work schedule

Ability to work safely under ranging environmental and weather conditions

Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds

Ability to operate hand/power tools
