*Part Time Office Assistant - Receptionist

*Job Description:We are seeking a Part Time Office Assistant/ Receptionist to join our team We are Huntington, NY based Psychotherapy Practice.

Lead clerical duties/support in executing all administrative duties; to drive company Advancement & SuccessResponsibilities include but not limited to; *handling all office based clerical tasks;
*Proficiently handle all incoming phone calls, phone consultations, other modes of communications, greeting clients and visitors;

  • Managing. Collecting and organizing files, updating all paperwork and performing other general office clerical duties and errands as they develop. As the receptionist and first person clients see when they come into the practice, you are responsible to be the "initial "happy, warm, greeting face" of the company This is demonstrated by continual smiling, positive demeanor, professional mode of dress, and a welcoming gratuitous attitude / this is necessary for this high traffic practice. You are mandated to follow all HIPAA GUIDELINES with all paperwork ,computer screen and all other office spaces are to be upheld to HIPAA standards and insurance confidentiality rules.

Office Manager Responsibilities:

  • Organizing, collecting, and maintaining an up to date system.
  • Recording all incoming and outgoing information as needed.
  • Insurance Verification (training provided on this)
  • Greet clients, visitors, and professional visiting staff in a polite, positive and productive manner
  • Collecting Client Co-Pays via several clinical methods
  • Fully proficient in Microsoft Word Programs
  • Organize and maintain office common areas, in a clean & orderly manner
  • Organize. schedule, and order for Practice meetings/events as needed
  • Answer phones and perform client consultations via phone; and follow through on obtaining needed documentation
  • Creating, maintaining, and entering information into necessary databases.
  • Additional responsibilities to be assigned as needed.

Office Manager Requirements:

  • High school diploma or Associate's degree.
  • Experience as an office manager/receptionist/assistant or in related field.
  • Ability to write clearly and assist with letter writing when necessary.
  • Warm personality with strong oral, & written communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under limited supervision
  • Out of the box thinker and ability to excel at multitasking ;
  • A take
- charge attitude by showing Initiative to work on improving clinical forms, process flows, and other office areas

  • Outstanding verbal and nonverbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Excel, Power Point. Theranest profiency is a plus.
  • Valid NYS drivers license.

Job Type:
Part-time


Pay:
$ $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 per week


Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No nights
  • No weekends

  • Customer service: 1 year (preferred)
