We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Pamela C. Boardway, CPA, P.C., tax and accounting.


Administrative Assistant Summary:


This role will be responsible for but not limited to: Answering phones, greeting clients, managing and scheduling client meetings, opening and maintaining client files, processing tax returns and other tax related documents and ordering office supplies.

We are looking for an organized, dedicated, and energetic individual that is detailed oriented, dependable, has strong computer skills, and seeks to play a key role in our success.

This role has a large customer service component so patience and communication will be vital.


Responsibilities:


  • Perform general clerical duties, including but not limited to photocopying, scanning, mailing, and filing
  • Maintain and organize office files and systems
  • Assist with data collection and entry into spreadsheets and databases
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings and appointments
  • Answer phone calls and direct clients to the appropriate person or department
  • Greet visitors and provide them with necessary information or assistance
  • Processing of tax returns and other tax related documents
  • Must be able to climb stairs and lift file boxes

Experience:


  • Proven experience as an administrative assistant or in a similar role
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Knowledge of Quickbooks
  • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently
