CLASSIFICATION:

Part-time 24 hours per week. W-2.


WORK SCHEDULE:

Monday to Wednesday from the hours of 8:00 AM and 5:00 PM each day.

Two of your three scheduled work days will be focused on treating clients; the third work day will be focused on administrative / management duties.

All work shall be performed in the company's clinic.


COMPENSATION RANGE:

Compensation ranges between $ $45.00 per hour; and is commensurate upon experience, expertise, company budget, and verified credentials.


ANTICIPATED TRAVEL:
5% of the time. There is no additional compensation for travel.


SUMMARY OF POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

To be successful in this role, the employee must be a self-starter, organized, competent in somatic healthcare treatment and administration, and able to work well with others.

As a Family Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive somatic care to patients.

Your expertise in diagnosing somatic conditions, prescribing medications, and conducting patient visits will contribute to the overall well-being of individuals seeking health support.

Your skills as nurse leadership will be essential in delivering high-quality care and clinical oversight. While on administrative in office duty, you will be responsible for overseeing the clinical operations for the FGC programs.


SCHEDULED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • On one day per week between the hours of 8am5pm, be present in the company's office and perform administrative / management duties as scheduled on that day. During this office day, you assume the role of onduty medical director. At the end of the office work day, write one end of shift report on administrative / management services rendered for the day.
Scheduled responsibilities for the day may include but are not limited to:


  • Conduct peer reviews on other prescribers and document in ICANotes
  • On an as needed basis, collaborate with external agencies on mutual client needs
  • Conduct representative sample batch reviews on documents created by clinical providers under your supervision such as referrals to external agencies, individual treatment plans, all student intern notes, biopsychosocial, and SUD focused ASAM assessments
  • On one day per week, between the hours of 8am 5pm, in the company's office, conduct somatic focused evaluations, assessments and medication management to clients as scheduled. Document services rendered in ICANotes during each session. Code sessions with evaluation/management treatment CPT codes as medically necessary. Typically, 13 clients are scheduled per hour.

UNSCHEDULED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate in external and internal audits/surveys (CARF/CSA/OHCQ) as directed by the supervisor

Participates in quality assurance and performance improvement plans by completing periodic audits or other activities to ensure regulatory compliance and/or improve service delivery

Assist the supervisor with any work-related tasks as requested

Collaborate with and serve as program POC for external treatment providers and outside agencies as needed

Responsible for following regulations of COMAR, CARF, any other regulatory body, and company policies/ procedures related to service delivery and documentation and co-facilitating orientation of all new hires to these as well

Support the maintenance of a safe environment by participating in training and drills as requested

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

Regularly walk, stand or stoop; occasionally lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects weighing up to 25 pounds; and regularly drive a motor vehicle.


WORKING CONDITIONS:

All work is performed in an office where staff is exposed to communicable diseases of patients.
