    CT Technologist

    Full-Time, Benefitted Position

    Night Shift

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team in Southern California. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues.

    Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform CT scans on patients according to physician orders and department protocols.
    • Prepare patients for CT procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the examination.
    • Position patients correctly on the CT scanner table and operate equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
    • Monitor patients during scans and communicate any adverse reactions or concerns to the medical team.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
    • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of images.
    • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
    • Participate in quality assurance activities and assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary.
    Qualifications:
    • Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
    • Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (CRT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
    • Additional certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
    • Valid state licensure to practice as a CT Technologist in California.
    • Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
    • Willingness to adhere to departmental policies and procedures, including safety protocols and patient confidentiality guidelines.
