CT Technologist

Full-Time, Benefitted Position

Night Shift

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated CT Technologist to join our team in Southern California. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' internal organs and tissues.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform CT scans on patients according to physician orders and department protocols.
Prepare patients for CT procedures, explaining the process and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the examination.
Position patients correctly on the CT scanner table and operate equipment to obtain diagnostic images.
Monitor patients during scans and communicate any adverse reactions or concerns to the medical team.
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation of procedures.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of images.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Participate in quality assurance activities and assist with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting when necessary.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (CRT) by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
Additional certification in Computed Tomography (CT) preferred.
Valid state licensure to practice as a CT Technologist in California.
Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
Willingness to adhere to departmental policies and procedures, including safety protocols and patient confidentiality guidelines.
