Our Skilled Nursing Facility company seeking experienced Maintenance Director for a long-term care facility in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Maintenance Director position is responsible for overseeing the Maintenance Department in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility, and directed by the Administrator, to assure that our facility maintained in a safe and comfortable manner.

Maintenance Director with - 3 years' experience in long-term care, hospital or healthcare preferred.

Maintenance Director Duties

Oversee the maintenance, preventive maintenance, and repair of all equipment within the facility.
Regular inspections of the facility for safety, upkeep, appearance, and equipment performance.
Provide oversight of the maintenance / repairs and ensure contracted services completed in a timely manner.
Assure compliance with regulations as they relate to the Life Safety Codes and OSHA guidelines. DOH – Department of Health survey process.
Must have the ability to be "on-call" for emergency situations.
Perform other job-related duties as they become required.

Maintenance Director Qualifications

Must have 1-3 years of experience in a healthcare maintenance setting and should demonstrate knowledge of systems such as HVAC, plumbing and electrical.

Must have Life Safety experience and knowledgeable of building codes and safety regulations and OSHA guidelines.

Ability to lift/carry a maximum of fifty pounds, push/pull a maximum of fifty pounds, stand, bend, and walk for extended periods of time.

Ability to interact positively with co-workers, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies and the public.
