The Software Team at Northrop Grumman Mission Systems (NGMS) is looking for you to join our team as a Principal or Sr.
Principal Embedded Software Engineer based out of Camarillo, CA.If you are an experienced embedded real-time Software Engineer or Software Developer, WE WANT YOU All Software tasking will be performed on-site at the Naval Air Warfare Center, Point Mugu and our Northrop Grumman Camarillo, CA office.
Embedded real-time system software developmentWork in Waterfall and Agile environments
Resolve software and system defects
Tools utilized are project-dependent and may include various VM/CM tools such as Rational ClearCase and ClearQuest, GIT, Bitbucket, Jira, SourceTree, Confluence, MFS, Rhapsody/UML for design, DOORs, etc.
Basic Qualifications for aPrincipal Embedded Software Engineer:
BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 5 years of experience; or Master's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 3 years of experience; Or PHD a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)
Experience with a higher order language such as Ada, C/C++, C#, RDBMS, MFS, Agile, UML, and real-time embedded software development
Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher
Principal Embedded Software Engineer:
BS degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 9 years of experience; or Master's degree in a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 7 years of experience; Or PHD a STEM field (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) with 4 years of experience.
Experience with a higher order language such as Ada, C/C++, C#, RDBMS, MFS, Agile, UML, and real-time embedded software developmentActive DoD Secret Clearance or higher
Experience working full software life-cycle experience on a large-scale, formal DoD program
Experience programming with C++ and ADA programming languages
Experience working in an Agile environment
