Overview:

The Research & Development Co-Op will work side-by-side with R&D Engineers in the design and development of new devices.


Responsibilities:


This position will utilize chemistry lab techniques and equipment to analyze chemical and biological samples, develop and validate new analytical methods and also involves the handling and analysis of biological tissue.

Additional tasks include keeping a detailed laboratory notebook, learning about the design process for medical devices, and developing manufacturing processes for production.


Qualifications:

Experience with handling chemicals, operating laboratory equipment, and general lab knowledge is required. Knowledge of UV-Vis, GC, HPLC, or tissue processing is a plus.
