We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Specialist (m/f/d) for our location in Braunschweig.

Job Description

Your Responsibilities

As a Finance & Accounting Specialist (m/f/d), you will be responsible for our companies in Germany, including:

  • Preparing monthly, quarterly, annual, and consolidated financial statements, with a focus on tax-related issues.
  • Posting and booking all documents in the main, fixed asset, accounts receivable, and accounts payable accounting, as well as handling and managing domestic and international payments.
  • Preparing annual tax returns and reviewing commissioned tax returns, including corrections.
  • Reviewing chain transactions and clarifying issues with other departments.
  • Preparing VAT returns, German and Belgian Intrastat reports, reports to the German Federal Bank (e.g. Z4, Z5, and K3), VAT prepayments including group taxation.
  • As the main contact for subsidiaries, tax advisors, auditors, tax authorities, the city, and other institutions, you will work with your department team to improve processes and actively participate in IT projects in the finance field.
