University Student Housing, LLC (USH), a division of the WCU Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, manages six high-end communities located on the West Chester University (WCU) campus.
USH operates four residence halls:
Allegheny Hall, Brandywine Hall, Commonwealth, and University Halls on the north campus of West Chester University. There are also two garden-style apartment communities, The Village Apartments and the East Village Apartments on south campus. Together, these six communities house almost 3,000 students. USH provides a challenging work environment that is uniquely suited to those who thrive on change.

DESK ASSISTANT:

COMMUNITY ASSISTANT
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (DESK ASSISTANT
):
- Greet visitors in a warm and welcoming manner.
- Support the USH staff by effectively and efficiently performing administrative responsibilities as assigned.
- Assist in opening and closing buildings.
- Monitor all keys to ensure that our resident safety and security is intact.
- Manage package intake and distribution to residents.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (COMMUNITY ASSISTANT):
- Greet visitors in a warm and welcoming manner.
- Support the USH staff by effectively and efficiently performing administrative responsibilities as assigned.
- Assist in opening and closing buildings.
- Assist with the implementation of marketing efforts oncampus, in the community and at special events.
- Conduct periodic account audits according to procedures.
- Assist with preparation of resident correspondence and collections follow up communications.
QUALIFICATIONS (DESK ASSISTANT AND COMMUNITY ASSISTANT):
- Must be a current WCU student with no judicial record, current or past, that has resulted in a sanction of temporary loss of housing, permanent loss of housing, or suspension from WCU.
- Must be able to communicate clearly.
- Must be able to learn and use new technology.
- Must be able to participate in all meetings and training sessions.
