    The role of Engineering Project Manager involves overseeing all stages of capital projects for Corrugated plants. The Project Manager coordinates the planning, organization, safe execution, and reconciliation/acceptance of projects within the allocated budget and scope. You will also define project requirements, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure the achievement of project objectives. This person will adhere to a defined engineering process and develop project scope(s). Efficiently executing projects that support operational throughput improvement, facility/process sustenance, and health and safety objectives, as assigned. Supporting goals for safety excellence, environmental responsibility, and other relevant matters, as necessary. This also entails providing technical guidance and support to local facilities, when required. You will be traveling up to 80% of the time and ideally located near a major airport.


    Responsibilities:
    Manage multiple aspects of capital functions, including planning, design, documentation, budgeting, and implementation.
    Influence and lead others through successful projects. This is a major requirement of the role. Diplomacy, approachability, and the ability to build trust are essential.
    Evaluate situations based on facts and provide prompt direction to individuals critical to the project or issue.

    Identify problems, gather facts and data, and draw valid conclusions using input from others, as necessary, to establish the right course.

    Interpret various forms of technical information and handle several abstract and/or concrete variables concurrently.
    Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and summarize information and written materials. Also, the ability to write reports, business correspondence, and documents.
    Coordinate and lead collaboration with external contractors on projects with varying scopes. Ensure projects stay within budget and adhere to timelines while providing transparent investment forecasting details.
    Familiarize and comprehend maintenance/plant operations. Make recommendations for training, improved procedures, manpower requirements, and selection.
    Create drawings, specifications, detailed project timelines, and instructions necessary to convey project requirements to others.
    Dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment and processes. Ensure strict process safety requirements are followed. Ensure that all projects undergo adequate hazard analysis before commencing and prioritize project safety throughout.


    Background:
    A degree in Engineering is not required but preferred.
    Minimum of 7 years of project management experience.
    Experience in the corrugated industry is preferred.
    Ability to travel up to 80% of the time. This may include domestic and international travel, as needed.
