    Youth Cooking Facilitator

    Dunwoody, GA, US

    Position Summary:

    The Youth Cooking Facilitator will lead all youth cooking programs at the MJCCA. Youth classes are with ages four years old to teenagers. Days, times, and hours per week will fluctuate depending on session needs each quarter. Average an approximate of 15-20 hours per week.

    Primary responsibilities will be execution of cooking classes, maintaining cleanliness of the kitchen, washing dishes, etc.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    · Maintain all levels of kitchen cleanliness and sanitation practices

    · Execute the culinary classes as designed to maintain quality of program

    · Transport children from Weinstein school and Club J to and from kitchen for classes

    Education/Experience:

    · Has worked with children of all ages

    · Has basic kitchen knowledge and safety sanitation knowledge

    · ServSafe certified; preferred but not required

    · CPR certified; preferred but not required

    Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

    · Ability to work with children of all ages; requires extreme patience

    · Show initiative

    · Needs reliable transportation to and from work

    · Must be able to be mobile and lift up to 50 pounds

    · Must be a team player

    · Must be able to work flexible hours in an environment with constant mobility.

    · Must be able to pass a criminal background check
