Position Summary:


The Operations Coordinator is responsible for ensuring facilities with classrooms are prepared to receive children during operational hours, supporting the engagement of families in our classrooms, and supporting the roles of Education Supervisor.


Essential Functions:


  • Collaborate with Education Supervisors for onsite implementation of the necessary operational infrastructure to support effective programming.
  • Design and execute a staffing schedule that ensures proper classroom coverage in collaboration with the Education Supervisors.
  • Collaborate with the agency's maintenance system to coordinate building and grounds maintenance to ensure healthy and safe environments.
  • Collaborate with Education Supervisors and Education managers to support hiring needs.
  • Ensure supply and material orders are collected, compiled, and delivered to the administrative assistant.
  • Serve as the facilities designee during any absence of an Education Supervisor
  • Support in organizing monthly parent events at each site.
  • Complete monthly reports and documentation.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring and continuous quality improvement.
  • Attend staff meetings, monthly Professional Development Days, All Agency meetings, and annual Pre-Service
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and requirements, including, but not limited to Head Start Program Performance Standards, Indiana child care center licensing, Paths to QUALITY, and CACFP.

QUALIFICATIONS:


To perform this position successfully, an individual must demonstrate regular, predictable attendance and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Experience Required:


  • Bachelor's degree in early education, business management or related field
  • Valid driver's license
