About the Position:

OneEnergy Renewables is seeking an Associate, Development.

We develop solar energy projects where the energy market dynamics, grid interconnection rules, and land permitting requirements are often unknown or are in flux and this role is important to help us navigate these unknowns.

This entry-level role is primarily comprised of proactive communication and coordinating successfully with a multidisciplinary team. The Associate's contributions are important to ensure our projects meet quality standards, schedule requirements, and budgets.

This role manages schedules, arranges assignments, and communicates progress to all team members all with an eye on determining project viability.

Responsibilities:

Act as a key point of contact for all project information: manage project schedules, expenses, and outside vendor contracting.
Conduct earlystage due diligence, identify site constraints and participate in obstacle
Coordinate internal teams to submit timeline responses to RFPs and grant
Support permit and interconnection submittal, including coordinating internal engineering and delivery teams, and direct communication with permitting authorities.
Support project lead at community meetings and permit
Research and obtain critical project or market information regarding code, policy, land records and relevant studies.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
13+ years of experience working in a professional
Willingness to work from Madison office at least 3 days a
High degree of personal
Excellence in writing and editing documents using MS Office
Experience with Salesforce or other CRM
Experience and dedicated interest in environmental or renewable energy
Solid organization and timemanagement

Experience building relationships with internal and external
Excellent communication skills, both oral and
Ability to manage competing priorities often across functional and operational
Ability to contribute to a positive and collaborative working
Requires travel, up to 1 week per month or about 1525% of working Must carry an active driver's license with acceptable driving record.
