This is advanced administrative services work in providing support to the coordination, implementation, and oversight of the Executive Office Team at MaineDOT.

Responsibilities require using independent judgement, initiative and decision-making on complex administrative tasks and require proficient knowledge of modern office practices and office equipment necessary to perform diverse administrative functions.

Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:

Independently composing, reviewing, editing, and/or approving correspondence,
Scheduling meetings and travel arrangements for executive team members,
Attending board/committee meetings to provide administrative support services,
Developing and recommending new work methods and administrative policies/procedures to improve existing work practices,
Being the liaison between Executive Team and internal and external partners on key matters, and,
Supervising two Executive Office staff.

Excellent organizational skills are critical, as well as the ability to prioritize the workload. This position is not eligible for telework.
