This is advanced administrative services work in providing support to the coordination, implementation, and oversight of the Executive Office Team at MaineDOT.
Responsibilities require using independent judgement, initiative and decision-making on complex administrative tasks and require proficient knowledge of modern office practices and office equipment necessary to perform diverse administrative functions.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Independently composing, reviewing, editing, and/or approving correspondence,
- Scheduling meetings and travel arrangements for executive team members,
- Attending board/committee meetings to provide administrative support services,
- Developing and recommending new work methods and administrative policies/procedures to improve existing work practices,
- Being the liaison between Executive Team and internal and external partners on key matters, and,
- Supervising two Executive Office staff.
