- Status: Full or part-time, Non-exempt
- Pick up purchased bulk food donated or ordered.
- Organize and clean food storage.
- Follow scheduled menus and prepare lunch and dinner 7 days a week.
- Purchase all produce and small incidental items.
- Store refrigerated food according to food storage safety principles.
- Set up station according to health department guidelines.
- Prepare all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner.
- Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by the dietician.
- Clean and maintain station with good safety, sanitation, organizational skills.
- Have understanding and knowledge to properly use and maintain all equipment in the station.
- Assist with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of kitchen, walk-in coolers, and storage areas.
- Perform additional responsibilities as requested by the Residential Coordinator and Chief Executive Officer.
- Maintain food handler and food safety principles certification yearly.
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to those stated above.
