    Company Description

    The Jewish Federation of Greater Fairfield County serves as a central focal point for philanthropy, programming and strategic planning for the Jewish community serving 15 cities and towns in upper Fairfield County. Our mission is to raise the funds required to support important programs and activities for both the Jewish and general communities, locally, nationally and globally.

    Role Description

    This is an on-site, part time (30 hours per week) role based in Bridgeport CT. The Administrative Assistant will provide general administrative support to the CEO and Federation team, will manage clerical tasks, coordinate schedules, and ensure smooth office operations, board and donor engagement, fundraising activities, basic accounting and CRM tasks and assist in executive-level administrative functions. The role will also support daily operations, ensuring efficiency in communication and organization across the workplace.

    Qualifications

    • Strong skills in Administrative Assistance and Clerical tasks, with a minimum of 2-3 years of admin experience
    • Possesses strong communication skills
    • Experience in Executive Administrative Assistance is preferred
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality
    • Proficiency in general office software and tools
    • Experience with the Microsoft Suite of technology tools
