What You Will Do:

Responsible for managing health information systems according to medical, ethical, and legal requirements of the healthcare delivery system, including monitoring data imports, system maintenance, workflow documentation, training, and data research
Oversees medical records maintenance and data coding
Participates in report preparation, provides information, and prepares correspondence regarding patient admissions, treatment, discharges, and deaths
Collaborates with providers, healthcare professionals, and coding team to ensure accurate clinical information in medical records for proper utilization, outcomes, and quality capture
Review and correct denied claims for payment

What You Will Need:

High school diploma and 1-3 years of relevant experience
CPC certification
Ability to pivot and adapt quickly
Knowledge of Excel
On-site training for 4-6 months followed by 100% remote work

Cerner EMR knowledge
