Accounts Payable Specialist
One (1) TEMPORARY Full-Time/40hrs/Non-Exempt/$ $29.30 per hour (DOE)

Pay differentials offered - must qualify through testing or verification for the special competencies.

Language Translation - Bi-Cultural Spanish ($1.00)

Bimodal Bilingualism - ASL Sign Language - Interpret from American Sign Language (ASL) to English, and English to ASL. ($1.00)

The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for auditing account invoices and receipts for proper documentation, signatures, etc. and contacting vendors and internal management when more information is needed.

Primary responsibilities include entering bills, reconciling statements, preparing payments for authorization and monitoring accounts to ensure payments are up to date.

Position is temporary with a 6 month minimum, and the potential to move into permanent position within the Finance Department.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

CA Driver's License, Current Auto Insurance, Clean DMV Printout (no more than 3 points on your record), clear background check w/ DOJ, CACI, FBI.

CPR and First Aid Certified. TB Test and Physical at the time of employment.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:

This position may work within ALL other agency programs, consistent with their scope of practice, on a as needed basis.

In addition, may require an occasional flexible work schedule to meet the individualized needs of each client.
