The Bavarian National Museum is currently seeking a full-time, permanent Head of Building Technology (Heating, Air Conditioning, Plumbing) (m/f/d) to join our team as soon as possible.

The Bavarian National Museum is one of the largest museums in Germany, showcasing outstanding art from the Late Antiquity to the Art Nouveau period.

It tells the unique story of European cultural history in Bavaria.

With ongoing updates to our permanent collections and exciting special exhibitions, the Bavarian National Museum bridges the gap between past and present.

Learn more about us at The responsibilities of this position include:
Managing the operation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, plumbing, and air conditioning systems.

This includes hot water and steam heating, water treatment and sewage systems, as well as air conditioning and safety systems.

Overseeing the entire Building Technology department of the Bavarian National Museum, including planning and coordinating staff. Organizing the safe and uninterrupted operation of the technical building equipment for heating, air conditioning, ventilation, and plumbing. Ensuring constant climate values throughout the collection area, restoration workshops, and storage facilities.

Processing, classifying, and evaluating incoming reports of malfunctions in process, building, and supply systems, and taking appropriate action at your own discretion.

Estimating costs and procuring spare parts for building technology, and forwarding them for financial review by the State Building Authority.

Planning, coordinating, monitoring, and billing for renovation and repair work, accepting work, and reviewing work logs for
