- Perform basic electronic hardware tests in accordance with defined engineering procedures or guidelines under the direction of engineers or more experienced technicians.
- Build engineering prototypes under the direction of an electrical engineer or experienced technician. Document prototype construction and maintain pertinent engineering records.
- Assist engineers in the evaluation of new electronic components.
- Assemble test fixtures, load banks, and other components common to product development.
- Provide support to engineering staff as needed.
- Process Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) of modest complexity under the direction of engineers or more experienced technicians.
- You have a two-year electronic technology or related associate degree.
- You have working knowledge of modern analog and digital electronics and electronic circuits.
- You are familiar with modern test equipment & programming languages.
- You have experience with O.S. and computer equipment.
- You have practical knowledge of 3-phase power systems.
- You are familiar with PCB router, 3d printer, and/or milling machines.
- You have knowledge and experience using CAD software tools.

Pay Range Data:
We anticipate filling this position as a Hardware Engineering Technician $ $34.60 per hour. We are open to reviewing additional candidates with more or less experience and the salary range may differ if filled at a different level. Our salary ranges are determined by job, responsibility, and location. We base our starting pay offer and title on location and job-related factors such as candidate experience, training, knowledge, and skills.
