Description
As a member of the Oakesdale team, you will be in close contact with colleagues in production facilities and customers. Your main responsibilities will include work in the areas of bridge bearings and bridge equipment, with the following tasks:

We are currently seeking a Bridge Workshop Designer (m/f/d) for DB Bahnbau Gruppe GmbH at our Norderstedt location.
Your tasks:
  • As a designer, you will be responsible for developing design, execution, and workshop plans
  • You will also create stability proofs and bearing dimensioning
  • You will carry out project documentation and manage reporting
  • You will review and revise sub-projects developed by third parties for execution readiness
  • You will ensure control, approval, labeling, and cancellation of plan documents
  • In addition, you will support the creation of cost estimates and tender documents through preliminary calculations and quantity surveys
Your profile:
  • You have completed your degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, design, or a related field - alternatively, you are a master/technician with experience in design
  • Ideally, you have professional experience in mechanical engineering and steel construction
  • You have a strong command of standard software (Office) and application-specific software (AutoCAD, Inventor)
  • You have an entrepreneurial mindset and are self-m
