Here at Second Preschool, we are more than just babysitters, we provide biblical teaching, foundational skills, learning through play, and our teachers love and care for each child in our program.

The responsibility's for our summer camp assistants consist of but are not limited to supervision and management of a large group of children between the ages of 5-12 in a fun and safe manner.

• Maintaining organized and controlled classroom structure with a large group of children ages 51
• Encouraging social interactions between children and improving their selfesteem.
• Engaging in creative methods of entertaining, such as arts and crafts, supervised play, and storytelling.
• Instilling a sense of order and discipline in the classroom.
• Monitoring free time on the playground.
• Ensuring the classroom is a clean, safe, and organized environment.
• Preparing for lessons by gathering materials and setting up workstations.

• Must be able to pass a fingerprinted background check.
• CPR certified is recommended, or needed to be obtained within 30 days of work.
• Food Handler certification is recommended or needs to be obtained within 30 days of work.
• Experience working with young children in a classroom setting or a distinct willingness to learn quickly.
• Ability to communicate with young children at their level.
• Patient, compassionate attitude, with a friendly, energetic disposition.
• Good mediation and nurturing abilities.
• Passion for shaping and inspiring young minds.
• Ability to serve as a positive role model.

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift
• Monday to Friday
