Store Associate/customer Service - Poway, United States - San Diego Pond and Garden

Description

San Diego Pond and Garden is hiring for a Full-time customer service/Retail person to work Tuesday-Saturday. If you have a fun spirit and outgoing personality give us a call. We are going into our peak season and need team players to join our our growing business.

Your role would be to help assist with customers in the store with fish and plants, answering phones, educate customers with pond chemicals and equipment(we will train you).

• Knowledge of aquariums, fish and plants is a plus, we can teach you all you need to know about ponds.
• Provide exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their shopping experience.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stock merchandise from store receiving to shelving; ability to place product, weighing up to 45 pounds, on shelving at various heights
• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry and walk about the store
• Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation

Qualifications:

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service
• Ability to operate QuickBooks efficiently and accurately
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and within a team environment
• Ability to stay organized, give attention to detail, follow instructions and multitask in a professional and efficient manner

Pay:
$ $18.00 per hour


Shift:

• 8 hour shift

Weekly day range:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Education:

• High school or equivalent (preferred)
