- Plan, organize, and oversee daily production operations to meet customer demand and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain production schedules to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime.
- Ensure equipment and processes operate at maximum efficiency while maintaining safety and quality standards.
- Lead efforts in capacity planning and resource allocation to support business growth.
- Manage procurement of raw materials, components, and supplies to ensure consistent availability while controlling costs.
- Develop relationships with key suppliers and negotiate contracts to secure the best terms.
- Monitor inventory levels, implement stock control systems, and minimize waste.
- Maintain and update Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and ensure compliance with relevant standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Lead internal and external audits, ensuring timely corrective actions and continuous improvement.
- Implement process improvements to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and improve customer satisfaction.
- Supervise and mentor production staff, ensuring high performance and professional development.
- Foster a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, sales, and customer service) to support business objectives.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Promote and enforce workplace safety standards and practices.
- Implement risk management strategies to minimize operational disruptions.
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in operations or production management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in RFID production, bonding, converting, or related industries is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in production planning, procurement, and quality management systems (QMS).
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement practices.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
