Key Responsibilities:

Dispatching and Routing: Coordinate the daily dispatching and routing of LTL shipments to maximize efficiency and minimize costs.

Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for drivers, carriers, and customers to provide updates on shipment status, address inquiries, and resolve issues in a timely manner.

Schedule Management: Manage driver schedules, monitor driver availability, and optimize route assignments to ensure on-time delivery of shipments.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain accurate records of shipment details, including pickup and delivery times, freight charges, and customer information.

Problem Solving: Identify and resolve transportation-related issues, such as delays, rerouting, and capacity constraints, to minimize disruptions and meet customer expectations.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

Performance Monitoring: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as on-time delivery percentage and driver utilization, to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.

Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams, including warehouse operations and customer service, to optimize transportation logistics and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
Minimum of 23 years of experience in transportation dispatching, preferably in the LTL sector.
Strong knowledge of transportation logistics, routing software, and industry regulations.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with drivers, carriers, and customers.
Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and work efficiently in a fastpaced environment.
Detailoriented with strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities.
