We are currently seeking a dedicated Paralegal/Legal Assistant to join our dynamic legal team in Chicago, IL

The Paralegal/Legal Assistant will play a crucial role within our team, contributing to a professional environment that prioritizes quality service and work-life balance.

This role involves supporting a group of intellectual property attorneys by managing their operational and administrative needs in a collaborative setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Oversee all facets of the firm's administrative practice, ensuring exceptional client service and efficient process management.
Utilize and optimize technology tools to enhance productivity across legal and administrative tasks.
Assist with new matter openings, conflict checks, trademark prosecution dockets, and preparation of legal documents.
Ensure compliance with all procedural requirements.
Handle correspondence, manage sensitive billing inquiries, and manage various calendars and schedules.
Work closely with legal staff to manage schedules, maintain files, and support internal team operations.

Qualifications & Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Intellectual Property law or similar practice area
Experience with electronic filing and court dockets
Paralegal Certificate (preferred)
Ability to commute to our downtown office and be onsite M-F
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Must maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Pay:
$65, $75,000.00 per year
